Four expert testers from the Italian ski magazine Sciare put our skiwear to the test on the slopes of the Ski Center Latemar in Pampeago – Obereggen. Mid layers, jackets and pants ranked among the best in this challenging test.

MID LAYERS

“The fabric lets light rain slide off, at the same time it is breathable and very durable. In addition, the soft insert on the inside of the collar ensures greater comfort and pleasant warmth when the temperatures drop.”

“It almost seems as if the jacket and pants are able to self-regulate the body’s temperature in relation to the type of activity. Cooling down during the most intense, muscular phases of the descent, and warming up during the rest phases. Moreover, what struck me was the wearability and lightness of the garments, which, while perfectly insulating, allow great freedom of movement. Extremely comfortable, they are a pleasure to wear thanks to their lightness and softness”.

Natyon Medal jacket and Natyon Iride pants for men

“The outfit’s special features are fit and comfort. Extremely wrap-around, thanks to the very stretchy fabric, it feels like you have nothing on, allowing incredible freedom of movement. The thermal capacity is excellent, allowing the right comfort to be maintained, not only when the temperatures are colder but also when it’s not very cold, such as in spring when, in general, if you ski with a certain intensity there’s always the risk of being soaked in sweat. Excellent breathability, rightly so, one of UYN’s strong points.”
